Well, it's been a couple of weeks since I've posted anything - but in my defense, it's been a pretty exhausting couple of weeks. For starters - Nophest happened over the weekend of December 7, 8, and 9 - and was totally badass. There were a million great performances over the course of the weekend. Some that stood out for me were Cinetrope on Friday, Swank Sinatra and us NP folks on Saturday, and the funky sounds of Goldenfro on Sunday evening. We're all already looking forward to April for the next installment.Just a few days later The Nerd Parade made it's first ever appearance at the Star Bar in Little 5 Points (pictured above). It was a great time, and the band seems to be playing every show at a consitently high level lately. Our next show is a big industry showcase at the loft on Jan. 12. We really need all of your support on this gig - and it should be the first chance to hear some brand new NP songs slated for our next release. Also - anyone who associates with myself or the band most likely knows my lovely wife / our resident band photographer Kat, well this show also happens to fall on her birthday - so come out and give her many happy wishes and buy her a beer =) Tickets are already on sale for $10 - and you can purchase through the NP myspace or website, or check out the link below this post =) Til next time - Love yall.
